  What is the best advise you have ever been given?

  awhile a go i was uptight about a matter i can't remember now and my friend said to me " give the other side the victory".

  a while ago my little boy was getting uptight and argumentative with his mum i asked him " to let it go" in effect i suppose " giving the other side the victory".

  anyway i am sure our life exsperiences have allowed us both receive and give good advice.

  First night in rehab after my stroke about 8pm I shit myself felt absolutely lousy did not want to live like this So I rang my mate Norm and he saidBob your providing work for people helping the economy So here I am laying in bed laughing thinking that a man so useless that he can't controll his bowels has a purpose in life The advise Always look at the bright side of life Sans life of Brien

  it seemsto methat the cream of the crop of JWs have woken up and are posting here on this site and I might add are for the most part are honest candid and genuine caring human beings a little story I never realy knew my father so I promised myself I would not be so distant with my kids so consequently my son knows me warts and all and he still likes me even loves me How good is that?

  when...... 1) we follow christ example not the gb.

  2) stop df'ing those for challenging current or past doctrine and allow us to use our god given gift of reason and free wil.

  sure kick out the scumbags even the lions club have rules for membership, but not those who just use their brains and consience.. 3) get rid of the nonsensical blood teaching that has cost the lives of thousands and beg god for forgiveness.

  I am ok smiddy appreciate your concern though like to ring you I will share a thought I had while teaching in china grew to love the chinese very family orientated and hospitable the thought? If Jehovah is going to kill these people because they havn't read a wt then he is a bastard and not worth knowing

  My Wife & I Came Across our Niece in the street today....Am I shunned ? Apostate ? or not ?

  it was quite unexpected , we were walking my mil`s dog when we saw my neice up ahead , after leaving a morning meeting oh ,theirs xxxx , ( what will we do ,what will she do ?

  ) my wife who is a genuinely loving person , with good pr i might add , unhesitatingly welcomes and embraces her as a long lost freind/relative , my neice reciprocates ,saying" i miss you, i really miss you "to my wife then turns to me and says i miss you too uncle xxxx , and embraces me also , saying i miss you both .

  (reading between the lines come back to the meetings ) just the way she said it .. a week ago the witnesses bypassed my house as they went d2d , ?

  I can't open that utube so I don't know the full story. While I don't wish I was dead I struggle at times with the thought that it wouldn't bother me too much if I was told that I would die tomorrow. I suspect that I have dysthymia and that it set in after I woke up from the WT deceit with the subsequent loss of my marriage ,family, financial security and death of my daughter. I know this may sound strange but I do enjoy living it's just that at times I relate to the thoughts of the song "Is this all there is to life"

  Then I think of the movie Life of Brien and their hanging on the cross singing " Always look on the bright side of life"
